If your like me, as an online networker, you use many methods to promote your program or to find new people to share your opportunity with.
Im still a huge advocate of attraction marketing and using resouces like My Social URL where you can provide people with a way to see your primary business as well as many of your social networks, all in one place.
With one link, you can send someone to see your primary business site, but also see your FaceBook, MySpace, Twitter and YouTube accounts.
I like both Twitter and YouTube a lot for my marketing. How handy it is to be able to have all of these resources in one link.
But...
Even with good social marketing, it's an ongoing struggle to keep putting your business or opportunity in front of enough people to keep a fresh stream of prospects looking at your business.
In that case, I've used Email Marketing and Safe Lists, Traffic Exchanges and Solo Ads.

Dreaded List of 100
Hello Everyone,
There is one consistent thing in just about every MLM, Network Marketing and Party Plan company "starter pack" I think I've ever seen.
That is the metal exercise of writing down your "List of 100". That's 100 people you know in case you are not familiar with MLM or you just never even made it that far in building your business.
Now, while I'm not a real fan of traditional methods of hounding friends and family to build a business, that is not to say that there's not value in some of these old school methods.
Creating a list of resources is very important and the people you know are important resouces to you as you build your business.
However, these people are not always a resouce for you to prospect, recruit or sign-up. Here is a great video from one of my friends from Better Networker with a great explanation of how we new generation networkers view the famous "List of 100"

The starting point can be very confusing when you have no experience of using online resources and only know the old style MLM methods such as making lists and relying on the ill-fated rule that says everyone within 3 feet is a potential prospect.

Article marketing can help you to gain an online presence, and the benefits will be long lasting.
Article writing may seem like a huge step for most people, but can it really be that difficult?
Ask yourself this question – are you able to write an article that is 300-400 words in length on the subject of network marketing? You should be able to answer yes straight away.
Have you got your own views and opinions on network marketing, the products you promote, and the beneficial effect this can have on customers? Answering yes again proves you can write your article.
However, just writing one article is not going to be enough. You’ll need to write a few and produce them continuously. Below is an intensive course on how to create a campaign through the use of article marketing for home business.
1. Conduct searches using keywords for topics on home business or network marketing. As you are new to this, you probably won’t have any experience of keyword tools. This can be overcome by jotting down a list of phrases or words that are linked to home business and network marketing.
What would you enter if you were going to conduct an online search using a search engine? There's a good chance that whatever you enter is going to be used by others so try to note down as many words and phrases as possible.

Skip the MLM Hard Sell. Attract Prospects Instead
Within the sponsoring process, the goal is not to SELL our prospects on a product or opportunity.That sounds completely backwards and counter-intuitive doesn’t it? After all, what’s the point if you’re not there to make a sale right?
Well there’s a problem with “selling” when it comes to this industry, especially when you’re offering a business opportunity.
If you “sell” someone on getting started and buying into your opportunity through persuasive conversational and closing techniques that pump them up emotionally, and target their “hot buttons”, then yes, you will recruit a lot of people and make sales.
But…
Once that emotional state wears off, whether it’s a day later or a week, the buyer will experience remorse. The dreams of wealth and success will succumb to the harsh realities of business ownership… That there’s real work involved, skills to be learned, money to be invested, and much more. These people quit and go back to their lives.
Now if you’re just going after a one-time retail sale, that would be fine. But that’s not your goal when you’re bringing in a new distributor whom you’d like to a see a commitment/partnership of several years from.
Unfortunately, this is what happens most of the time in this industry. New distributors are just focused on the sale. They need the money, they want the self-gratification and recognition that comes from sponsoring a new rep so they learn how to throw out lines, read scripts, sell, over-come objections, and close. Some will go on to achieve success because they sponsor so many people that some naturally stick and run with it.
But selling and sponsoring like that is HARD work. It’s an uphill battle because you’re fighting people’s instincts to avoid being sold. They’re afraid of making a mistake. They’re afraid of being ripped-off. They’re afraid of failing or looking silly. There’s no TRUST.
In my opinion, there is a much better way that’s more enjoyable and beneficial for both people…
Make it THEIR IDEA to buy from you.
This is the new paradigm when it comes to selling in today’s market. Your First Step: Get Invited…
The old fashioned methods of pounding the phones, holding meetings, pitching your business to leads, and trying to turn your friends and family members into business partners have come to an end.
“Prospecting” for business as you’ve known it, has become obsolete. It’s an irrelevant, old-school sales technology that is only pursued by individuals who have yet to discover the methods Magnetic Sponsoring is based upon.
I’d like you to stop and think for a moment. Compare today’s social environment to the world we lived in just 15 years ago.
Today, people are DROWNING under a flood of information, marketing noise, and endless options to choose from thanks to the internet. Corporations have literally turned us into numbers, tracked our personal buying habits, categorized our topics of interest, and constantly use that information to drive as many customized offers into our viewing screen. People have been forced to build fortified walls around themselves and their homes to fight back the onslaught of people trying to get their hands into their pocket book. Solicitations are detested and met with frustration and impatience. We simply don’t want to be bothered which means no sane person would willingly build any kind of business based on cold-market prospecting, and in-your-face selling.
Yet... The internet has created an entirely new world of opportunity for everyone, where you can literally re-invent your life, and turn a simple thought into a business for little or no money at all.
Obviously, that’s a trend you intend to take advantage of, or you wouldn’t be here right now.
But unfortunately 95% of those who start a home business will fail themselves, and the primary reason for that failure is that they didn’t acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in today’s modern, competitive market place.
So with that said, here’s the key to success in today’s market…
If you’re going to sell something to someone, you’ve got to find a way to get invited into their world as a welcomed guest, instead of a pest.
Now you have two options when it comes to building your business…
You can simply play the numbers and contact enough people until you make a sale through traditional old-school prospecting and this is the path 95% of home business owners take.
Or…
You can position yourself in the market place in a manner that allows interested prospects to find you, and contact you.
This is called “attraction marketing” which is at the heart of Magnetic Sponsoring and Black Belt Recruiting.
Option #2 is obviously the superior choice for several reasons, but I’d like to point out one dynamic that is key to the concept of Magnetic Sponsoring…
Who finds and contacts the other person first is very important.
In Option 1, you were chasing the prospect. In Option 2, the prospect was chasing you, which means you are perceived as the expert, and hold all of the power and value in that situation.
The prospect invited you into their world, and is basically asking you to sell them your goods or services. You get to instantly bypass all of the barriers and walls that must be broken down by everyone else, and all of the sudden this isn’t about selling any more.
You’re now in the position of the knowledgeable service provider who’s expertise has been sought out and pursued. There’s a level of implied trust already present. At this point, sponsoring becomes effortless.
This is where you have to be today in order to break through the infinite noise in the market place.
How do you do this?
Simple… The most potent marketing weapon you have in your arsenal, is actually you – because unlike business opportunities, there’s only one of you in the entire world.
You want to market YOU.
So the key to Step 1: “Getting Invited”, is to offer personal VALUE to your prospect above and beyond your opportunity. The best way to increase your value to other people is to educate yourself. Become an expert at lead generation. Become an expert at sponsoring prospects. Become and expert at attraction marketing.
There’s no magic here. Just study courses like Magnetic Sponsoring and Black Belt Recruiting, apply what you learn, and you will automatically acquire massive amounts of value to your prospects who don’t know any of this yet.
No value… No invitation.
If you’re struggling with sponsoring, it’s because you don’t have any real value to offer anyone. Change that.
As we’ve seen, having value and expertise to offer is VERY attractive, and that’s Step 2 in my personal sponsoring system…

One of the Best Secrets of Online MLM Marketing
I'm not going to waste your time here...Network marketing secrets are a dime a dozen. let's face it, everyone is looking for an easier way to do things but the key secret with network marketing is putting a process in place which can take a prospect from being a complete stranger to becoming a business associate.
How do you do this? Here is where most network marketers fall down. They get a prospect into their sales funnel and they immediately want to sales pitch them.
How many times have you been approached about a business opportunity and been told how great the company or the product is? Or if you don't join now then you'll be sorry.
Ask yourself this, does this want to make you want to grab the credit card and sign up immediately?
So what does? Pre-selling...
Two of the biggest preponents of preselling are Ken Evoy of Site Build It! and Ann Sieg of The Renegade Network Marketer. Both have been preaching preselling as the most important aspect of attracting and teaching prospects before you ask for the sale.
The concept won't resonate with many network marketers because many haven't the patience to implement it. But the truth is, as far as network marketing secrets go, it's just about the most powerful aspect of building a business one could implement.
When done right, preselling can actually eliminate the need for a sales pitch. It could become a thing of the past. Here's a quick example of how the process could work in your business:
1. A prospect enters your lead funnel with a little trepidation after reading and responding to your message.
2. They contact you about your opportunity and expect to be hit with a sales pitch. Instead, you talk about them and how to get them from the starting point to reaching their goal.
3. You start to teach and educate them, send them resources, show them the benefit of building online real estate to provide people with valuable information. At no time do you hit them with anything resembling a sales pitch.
4. After several weeks, your prospect now trusts you as someone genuinely interested about helping them succeed and they ask you what network marketing company you're in. Many actually ask how can they join you in business.
Can you see the power of this? Because you took the time to presell the prospect on you, not your company, they now regard you as someone important to their long range plans.
It's one of the best kept network marketing secrets and is the missing element so many networks do not use. In fact, most of what I see of networkers online is just taking off-line marketing methods and putting them online.

So what have you told me about yourself other than you are desperate to sign someone up? What have you told me about what kind of leader you would be for me? What have you told me about you that makes you any different from the other 1000's of similar profiles and webpages out there?
Market you...that is the one thing that nobody else has.

- Share resources with your prospects which will help them move their business forward. This means staying in touch with them and providing tips on how to promote their business. These could be article marketing tips, how to create a blog or how to use the power of web 2.
- Show them how to use online resources such as article directories. By publishing articles, you'll get traffic to your sites as well as build valuable back links back to your properties gaining more traction in the search engines.
