One of the more obvious facts in MLM prospecting is that people will only do business with people that they like and enjoy talking to. If you take a minute you will see what I mean. Most people in this world only like being around people that they like, so it only makes sense that you would do business with someone that you like.
This is even more true when it comes to someone that's looking for a leader join. It only makes sense that they would be more inclined to join someone they like.

I generally have a high opinion of myself so I thought I was a likeable person. Make sure that you listen to their story completely so you understand why they are talking to you. They are speaking with you to look for an answer to their problem and you need to listen so you hear what the problem is. They won't always come out and say it.
2. Make yourself seem as if you are an expert in your field. You have to be the souce of the solution that your prospect is looking for. They're still shopping around after their first contact with you so you have to ensure them that your business is the best solution for them.
3. Listening is the key to building a successful relationship. Listening will help you find out exactly what your prospect wants. You must find out exactly what the prospect wants to know and also what they want to avoid. You must respect their desires at all costs.
4. Potential prospects will only do business with leaders that they like. This is a fact. You need to make yourself appear as someone that they will enjoy working with. The best way to do this is to deliver what you promise. Following these tips will ensure that you're successful in the MLM marketing industry.
Listening takes work because our initial reaction is to want to do all the talking and sell them into submission. How can you give them a solution if you don't even know what they really want.
Remember, being an expert means that you only need to know a little more than the person your talking to.
